Steve Ripley, American musician , Died at 69


Paul Steven Ripley was born on January 1, 1950, in Boise, Idaho and died on January 3, 2019.

He was an American recording artist, record producer, songwriter, studio engineer, guitarist, and inventor.

During 1977 he started out the music industry.

Steve Ripley was also the leader/producer of country rock band The Tractors.

 He died from cancer on January 3, 2019, two days after his 69th birthday, at his home in Pawnee, Oklahoma.

He was 69 years old.

Sayed Ashraful Islam was born in 1952, in Mymensingh, East Bengal, Dominion of Pakistan and died on January 3, 2019.

He served in the Awami League.

Jack Fennell, English rugby league footballer, Died at 85

Jack "Jackie" Fennell was born on May 6, 1933 and died on January 3, 2019.

He was an English professional rugby league footballer. 

He was a player of the 1950s and 1960s.

Bob Burrow, American basketball player, Died at 84

Robert Brantley Burrow was born on June 29, 1934 and died on January 3, 2019.

He was an American basketball player.

Bob Burrow is the son of a lumberjack.

He was reviewed as the nation's No. 1 junior college player in 1954 at Lon Morris, where he scored 2,191 points.

Presumably, Adolph Rupp gave Burrow a scholarship without seeing him play in person.

Burrow played cordially for the University of Kentucky and was selected by the Rochester Royals in the 1956 NBA draft.

He was a player for the Royals (1956–57) and Minneapolis Lakers (1957–58) in the NBA for a total of 81 games.

Moffatt Burriss, American politician, Died at 99

Thomas Moffatt Burriss was born on September 22, 1919, in Anderson, South Carolina and died on January 4, 2019.

He was an American businessman and politician representing the state of South Carolina.

He earned his bachelor's degree from the Clemson University.

Burriss served in the South Carolina House of Representatives as a member of the Republican Party from 1977 to 1992, representing Richland County, South Carolina.

Burriss was a general contractor, and also a veteran of World War II.

He was interviewed by Fox News where he explained how during World War II in 2017, at only 24 years old, he successfully tricked an entire German Panzer Corps to surrender to him, under the duress that there was a brigade of tanks and paratroopers behind him ready to attack.

Moffatt Burriss passed away at 99 years old.

Joe Casely-Hayford, British fashion designer, Died at 62

Joseph Ephraim Casely-Hayford was born on May 24, 1956 and died on January 3, 2019.

He was a British fashion designer.

Starting out in the mid-1980s Hayford established an international reputation as one of the UK's most admired and continually relevant designers of men's and women's-wear.

Heyford was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire, for services to the fashion industry, in the Queen's Birthday Honours list.

 Casely-Hayford met Maria Stevens in 1976 at Saint Martin's School of Art.

The couple got married in 1980, and were life long and business partners until his death in early 2019.
