Harold Bradley, American Country Music Hall of Fame musician, Died at 93

Harold Bradley was born on January 2, 1926, in Nashville, Tennessee and died on January 31, 2019, he was also known as Harold Ray Bradley.

Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul, Musician & political activist, Died at 63

Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul was born on January 1, 1956 and died on January 22, 2019 due to a heart attack.

He served in a Mukti Bahini base in Zinzira. His older brother, Iftekhar Uddin Ahmed Tutul, served in the Crack Platoon of the Mukti Bahini.

Ahmed trained in India and fought in Lalbagh Thana and New Market Thana of Dhaka.

In October, Ahmed was captured by Pakistan military and Razakars while returning to India for more training.

Ahmed was transferred to a jail in Mymensigh where he was tortured and witnessed the mass execution of 39 Mukti Bahini prisoners by the Pakistan military.

He transferred to the resident of Dana Miah which served as the local office of the East Pakistan Central Peace Committee.

Ahmed was tortured there along with other members of the Mukti Bahini. He was able to escape from the camp.

Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul passed away at the age of 65 on January 22, 2019 due to a heart attack.

Sanger D. Shafer, American country & songwriter, Died at 84

Sanger D. "Whitey" Shafer was born on October 24, 1934, in Whitney, Texas and died on January 12, 2019.

Georges Dimou, Greek singer, Died at 87

Guitar left Dolton and became part owner of Jerden Records, in 1960.
Guitar was first married to musician and inventor Paul Tutmarc.

Bonnie Guitar passed away at 95 years old.

Willie Murphy, American blues musician, Died at 75

Willie Murphy was born on November 17, 1943 and died on January 13, 2019.

John Joubert, South African-born British composer, Died at 91

Claude Gingras, Canadian journalist and music critic, Died at 87
