Dick Miller, American actor, Died at 90

Richard Miller was born on December 25, 1928, in The Bronx, New York and died on January 30, 2019.

He was an American character actor.

He was a actor in more than 100 films, including many produced by Roger Corman.

Later he showed up in the movies of executives who started their vocations with Corman, including James Cameron and Joe Dante, with the refinement of showing up in each movie coordinated by Dante.

Aloysius Pang, Singapore actor, Died at 28

Aloysius Pang Wei Chong was born on August 24, 1990 and died on January 23, 2019.

He was a Singaporean actor managed under NoonTalk Media.

Pang  stopped acting at the age of 14 due to teasing.

He made his comeback in 2012 by starring as the lead role in the Singapore Film Timeless Love, which was directed by Lim Koong Hwee and Singaporean celebrity Dasmond Koh.

He made his directorial debut in 2014 by directing the music video of Singapore-based singer Gavin Teo's I Understand (我懂了), which also starred Xu Bin and Kimberly Chia.

Singapore's Ministry of Defense (MINDEF) declared that Pang on January 19, 2019, who was a reservist holding the position of the corporal top of the line (CFC) in the Singapore Army, was genuinely harmed amid a mishap while preparing in New Zealand.

On 23 January, the Minister for Defense Ng Eng Hen discharged a refresh that Pang's condition had declined, getting to be basic after medical procedure, and that Pang had been set in the emergency unit).

Fernando Luján was born Fernando Ciangherotti Díaz on August 23, 1938 and died on January 11, 2019. 

He was a Mexican actor.
Luján's father; Alejandro Ciangherotti, brother Alejandro Ciangherotti Jr., wife Martha Mariana Castro, sons Fernando Ciangherotti, Fernando Canek and daughters Cassandra Ciangherotti and Vanessa Ciangherotti are also actors.

Luján was not related to actress Daniela Luján.
During 2009, Luján wife and daughter, Martha Mariana and Vanessa, produced a trilogy of the family in celebrating the ninth anniversary of Lo que callamos las mujeres, starring his children, nephews and granddaughter, where Vanessa and Fernando Ciangherotti serve as the director.

W. Morgan Sheppard, British actor, Died at 86

William Morgan Sheppard was born on August 24, 1932, and died on January 6, 2019.


He was also known as Morgan Sheppard or W. Morgan Sheppard.

Sheppard was a British actor and voice actor.

Annalise Braakensiek was born on December 9, 1972 and died on January 6, 2019.

Kader Khan, Afghan-born Indian-Canadian actor, Died at 81

Kader Khan was born on October 22, 1937 and died on December 31, 2018.

He was an Afghan-born Indian-Canadian film actor, screenwriter, comedian, and director.

Peter Thompson, English footballer, Died at 76

Wally Burr, American voice actor and director, Died at 91

Walter S. Burr was born on June 2, 1926 and died on July 9, 2017.

He was also credited as Wally Burr and Walter Burr.

He was an American voice actor and director.

Burr was the voice director for The Transformers and The Transformers: The Movie, Burr was known for his perfectionist recording sessions.

Burr voice directed several other cartoons during the 1980s, such as G.I. Joe, Jem, Inspector Gadget, and Spider-Man.

Andy Cunningham, British magician, puppeteer and actor, Died at 67

Andrew "Andy" Cunningham was born on May 13, 1950 and died on June 5, 2017.

He was an English actor, puppeteer and writer.

Cunningham was perhaps best known as the creator and main writer of the children's BBC television series, Bodger & Badger, in which he acted as Simon Bodger and his pet, Badger.

Cunningham was also the uncredited puppeteer of Ephant Mon, Jabba the Hutt's Head of Security in Return of the Jedi (1983).

He studied at the University of Cambridge, where he read English.

Cunningham was in a long-term relationship with co-star Jane Bassett who played Mousey in Bodger & Badger.

But, they later separated but remained good friends.

Fayard Antonio Nicholas, American choreographer, dancer and actor, Died at 91

Fayard Antonio Nicholas died on January 24, 2006 at the age of 91; he was an American choreographer, dancer and actor.

Fayard Nicholas was inducted into the National Museum of Dance C.V. Whitney Hall of Fame in 2001, along with his brother.

Heading west in 1934, to Hollywood, California, Fayard and Harold appeared in the films Kid Millions (1934), The Big Broadcast (1936) and Black Network.

They made their Broadway debut in a version of the Ziegfeld Follies, alongside the likes of Bob Hope and Ethel Merman, in 1936.

That same year, while performing in Manchester, England, as part of the cast of the touring show Blackbirds, the brothers were introduced to and developed an appreciation for a number of highly regarded European ballet companies.

By the start of the 1940s, the Nicholas Brothers were international celebrities.

The two men starred in several hit films, including Stormy Weather (1943) with Cab Calloway and Lena Horne, and acquired a reputation as the finest dance team in America.

Fayard Nicholas was one-half of The Nicholas Brothers, a famous African-American tap dancing team who appeared in several movies and became one of the famous and most beloved dance team of all time.

Self-taught, Fayard learned how to dance watching vaudeville shows while their parents played in the orchestra pit.

He then would teach the routines to his younger brother.

Fayard was considered the gregarious one of the duo; Harold was more withdrawn and introspective.

The Nicholas Brothers grew up in Philadelphia, the sons of musicians who played in their own band at the old Standard Theater, their mother at the piano and father on drums.

At the age of three, Fayard was always seated in the front row while his parents worked, and by the time he was ten, he had seen most of the great black Vaudeville acts, particularly the dancers, including such notables of the time as Alice Whitman, Willie Bryant and Bill Robinson.

He was completely fascinated by them and imitated their acrobatics and clowning for the kids in his neighbourhood.

The Nicholas Brothers have headlined shows all over the world. They have appeared in every major television show, nightclub and theater in America and performed for the troops in Viet Nam in 1965.

The Nicholas Brothers have received many tributes and awards, which include: A star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, The Kennedy Center Honors (presented by President George Bush), and an honorary doctorate degree from Harvard University.

They are also proud of the some of students they have taught tap.

They include Debbie Allen, Janet Jackson, and Michael Jackson.

Luiz Carlos Miele, Brazilian artist and musical producer, Died at 77

Luiz Carlos Miele was born on May 31,1938, in Rio de Janeiro and died on October 14, 2015.

He was a producer, actor, writer, Brazilian artist, musical producers and director of shows.

Luiz started his professional career as an announcer for the radio stations Excelsior, Tupi and Nacional.

In 1959 Luiz moved to the city of Rio de Janeiro, where he met the composer Ronaldo Bôscoli.

Together they formed the duo Miele & Bôscoli, responsible for the direction and production of various shows, and music programs on television stations.

After the death of comedian Manuel de Nobrega in 1976, he then presents The Praça da Alegria on Rede Globo, leaving the air in 1979.

The program included the participation of Ronald Golias.

On television, Luiz worked in the direction and production of the musical programs Gala Evening and Cara & Crown (with Dori Caymmi and Sylvia Telles), the TV Rio.
