Altino Pinto de Magalhães was born on May 8, 1922 and died on January 24, 2019.
He was a resigned Army Officer in the Portuguese Armed Forces, Military
Governor and authority in the Ministry of the Army, just as the
President of the Junta Regional of the Azores.
Magalhães filled in as a general in the Portuguese Armed Forces, who,
while having a moderate style, bolstered the Carnation Revolution of
April 25, 1974.
Magalhães turned into a possibility for the Presidency of Portugal in 1985 .Altino Pinto de
Magalhães passed away at 96 years old.
