Bill Mackrides, American football player, Died at 93

William Mackrides was born on July 8, 1925 and died on January 22, 2019.

He was an American football quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League.

Mackrides helped the Eagles win the 1948 and 1949 NFL Championships.

He played school football for the University of Nevada, Reno and drove the country in going in 1946.

In his last proficient season in 1953, he played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and was the last Steeler to wear uniform number 13 of every a normal season diversion until punter Jeremy Kapinos wore that number in 2010.

Afterward, he picked up degrees (MS and PhD) in instruction, undergrad at West Chester State College, a graduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania,and a doctorate in brain science at the University of New Mexico.

Mackrides has since resigned and dwells in Delaware County, Pennsylvania.

Mackrides additionally established Indian Springs Day Camp, a mid year day camp in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania in 1959, which is at present family possessed and worked.
