Peter Kelly, Irish politician, Died at 74

Peter Kelly was born on August 17, 1944 and died on January 2, 2019.

He was an Irish Fianna Fáil politician.

From 2002 to 2011, Peter Kelly was a Teachta Dála (TD). 

Before a funeral director and publican, Kelly was first elected to Dáil Éireann for the Longford–Roscommon constituency at the 2002 general election.

Peter Kelly was re-elected at the 2007 general election for the new Longford–Westmeath constituency.

Kelly was a member of Longford County Council from 1985 to 2003, and also previously served on Longford Town Council.

Kelly lost his seat at the 2011 general election.

Peter Kelly passed away at 74 years old.
