Born on July 15, 1945, in Athens, Greece, Mavroudis embarked on a diverse and extensive musical journey that spanned numerous decades.

Early Years and Musical Enlightenment

Notis Mavroudis's early life bore the imprints of unique circumstances. For the initial two years of his life, he shared a confined space with his mother, a political prisoner following the Greek Civil War. In 1958, at the young age of thirteen, he commenced his classical guitar lessons at the National Conservatory of Athens under the guidance of the esteemed musician Dimitris Fampas.
