Carmencita Reyes, Filipino politician, Died at 87

Carmencita Ongsiako Reyes was born on November 9, 1931, and died on January 7, 2019.

She was a Filipino politician and jurist.

Reyes was an Assemblywoman from 1985 to 1986, Congresswoman of Marinduque from 1978 to 1998 and 2007 to 2010, as well as governor from 1998 to 2007 and 2010 to her death.

She was appointed the Assemblywoman until the 1986 EDSA Revolution drove Marcos out of power.

Carmencita Reyes passed away at 87 years old.
