Carmencita Reyes, Filipino politician, Died at 87

Carmencita Ongsiako Reyes was born on November 9, 1931, and died on January 7, 2019.

She was a Filipino politician and jurist.

Reyes was an Assemblywoman from 1985 to 1986, Congresswoman of Marinduque from 1978 to 1998 and 2007 to 2010, as well as governor from 1998 to 2007 and 2010 to her death.

Pinaki Thakur, Bengali poet, Died at 59

Pinaki Thakur was born on April 21, 1959 and died on January 3, 2019.

He was a Bengali poet Pinaki Thakur studied Engineering but passionate in Bengali poetry from student life and wrote poems in various little magazines.

Thakur's poetry was first published in Ushinar magazine in 1974.
